The Shadow Collection evolved directly from the Warriors series, carrying forward the same fascination with identity and presence, but stripping back the colour to explore light and dark in their purest forms. Where Warriors was explosive and experimental, Shadow became more pared down—defined by clean, refined lines, striking monochromes, and a sharp clarity of form.

Here, figures are carved from contrast: bold whites against rich blacks, silhouettes that emerge like paper cut-outs, recalling my love for collage techniques and my graphic, hand-drawn linework. Using photography archives and life drawings as source material, I reimagined women’s bodies in fragments and poses, capturing movement, intimacy, and quiet strength.

Minimal yet powerful, Shadow is about distilling the figure into something timeless—artworks that are as much about presence as they are about the space in between.
